Erika Larsen
I chose to research Erika Larsen because  i found her photography very interesting she doesn't just photograph the beautiful things.  She tends to take photos of unusual things. She works using video, books and photography, to learn about different cultures and how they stick with there cultural ways. since 2000 she has been working on magazines about cultural issues. Her photography is mostly about culture and the way people live.

I chose Alec Sloth because I found his photographs very interesting and unique. "notable large scale American projects" featuring the midwestern United States. His photography has a cinematic feel with elements of folklore that hint at a story behind the image. Born in 1969 in Minneapolis MN. Attended college in Bronxville, New York. He has also gotten many awards for his photographs, and has participated in solo and group exhibitions. His photos have also been in several magazines, books, and museums.
